RecommendedI needed a place to stay with my boyfriend while in town visiting my parents. I liked being located in downtown Asheville, as my parents are a bit more removed in Black Mountain. It was nice to walk around the area and be close to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The decor is what struck me most about Renaissance. It is modern and has a sophisticated cool. RecommendedReally beautiful and comfortable hotel in downtown Asheville, close to lots of restaurants and shops. The decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed staying in a room with a nice view of the city.
RecommendedAn AMAZING hotel in Downtown Asheville. Centrally located to a lot of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. DOG FRIENDLY! so cool. it's super chic and gorgeous inside. Pool area is indoors but feels bright and open with surrounding window, LOTS of space to hang out around it. Good for all seasons. highly recommend for weddings. Just did a shoot there and had SO many wonderful places to shoot the wedding couple!
RecommendedWell, this is a half n half recommendation. The guy at the desk was rude! But the lady was sweet! Our room was mostly clean, had some bugs in the drawers, even though they were dead, still gross! Our shower didn’t work, they came to fix it, still didn’t work. We had cold water. Then..THEN to beat all..something went wrong with the water and we couldn’t take showers, brush our teeth, nothing! Great view to fireworks though.
RecommendedThe hotel is huge! They were very welcoming and had a ton of information upon check in. They do charge for parking in their lots for non- guests since they are very close to a restraunt district but they give you a free pass when you check in. The room was incredibly clean and had internet tv so you could sing into your own streaming accounts and pick up where you left off at home.
