We recently filed an auto claim with State Farm and received what we consider to be a low-ball settlement for our car, which was a total loss. This was a car that was regularly maintained, with frequent checkups at the dealer shop, no cosmetic damage, no mechanical issues, and newer brakes and tires. The worst insurance company. Cancel immediately if you have State Farm. Had an accident on 5/22 and they didn’t look at my car ti 7/5. Then rental expired. A billion dollar company said they were sorry with every phone call I had with them. I’m not giving them any stars. They really don’t care !

If I could give a zero I would. We paid premiums for 35 years with only one minor claim many years ago. This past year my vehicle was damaged in a grocery parking lot. Comprehensive coverage was denied. Then we experienced roof damage from a storm. They went out of their way to make the claim process incredibly difficult......sales agent was useless (like a franchise who only sells), outsourced the adjuster (who will only do what they are told by State Farm behind the scenes), and the claims person will automatically deny yo... read more

Worst experience ever. I filed a hail damage claim on my new truck I bought. They took 4 weeks to get anything done. Just to find out it was totaled. The first week my supplemental estimate was sent to a person who no longer works there. Now I’m being low balled on my vehicle for the payout. Almost 10,000 less that what I paid 4 months ago. And I only put 4000 miles on the vehicle. Huge scam artist looking to pick on people during a tough time

State Farm is the absolute worse company in the western hemisphere. Both on the personal and business mitigation side. The claims adjusters don't care and are incompetent. They never return calls and give false information about important processes. I needed a diminished claim value for an accident that their insured caused and they are making me fully responsible to find someone to do the valuation. I had to call multiple times, transferred all over the place, and hold forever to have someone tell me that they can't help me... read more

state farm overpriced--- very poor communications with the company on changes to your policy and increase in charges .they did not state what extra charges were for, back and forth with agents for 2 weeks. did not seem to know what was going on.

Been waiting on my kitchen to fixed for 7 months. It happened in 12/26/22. Had pipes bust. It took 3 months to have an adjuster come to the home. He didn’t even go downstairs where the issue began. All my cabinets ruined and been fighting to get them to pay for that They still don’t want to cover all the cabinets because they use Excatmate for pricing instead of what materials actually cost. After tornado incident at our house, what was worst than the actual event itself, was the complete isolation, not caring, no communication, as if we didnt exist. Got no direction, instruction of what to do. Absolutely nothing. As if we didnt exist. We sat in two lawn chairs staring at our destruction for 6 days, alone. We have been loyal monthly paying customers for 5 1/2 years.
