The waiting room is crazy sometimes - and the wait can be long at the Tyson Corner office - But working with this doctor is worth the wait. Multiple surgeries. I will stay with this surgeon and use him and refer him to my closest loved ones
I was referred to Dr. Avery for hip replacement surgery. He did an exceptional job describing the procedure and managing the expectations with the recovery, while also emphasizing the importance with physical therapy. I would highly recommend him. The operation was a success. Dr. Avery cares about his patients and listens to their concerns.
Today was my first day with Dr. Avery. I had been looking for a doctor with good reviews and was so grateful Dr. Avery was close to me and available to provide care for me, I had a wonderful experience considering I was in sever pain and felt like I had not had proper care in the past. He truly was wonderful and he spent above and beyond the time I expected from him. He gave me hope and told me that he could help me and that I had options in my healthcare. Praise God for Dr. Avery.
Dr. Anthony Avery is an amazing physician and surgeon. I had a complex tibial plateau fracture which he operated on successfully. Even more impressive is his great listening and sharing information with patients. He actively advocated for me in the healthcare system stepping in a number of times to help figure out insurance issues, major pain, and emergency situations with a blood clot and high blood pressure. He also helped me with letters, documentation, He is what a doctor should be!! 5++++++
excellent - no doctors out there like this guy. He listens - Iv had multiple injuries an have had hamstrings reattached , labrum repair, carpel tunnel release - so smooth , he manages my pain and truly is the best or maybe one of 2 out there - and Iv been to about 5 of the top Ortho doc's or they say the "top" in this area. this guy is the real deal.
Dr. Avery was very up front about my options with my bad knees. Listened to everything but didn't try to force me into surgery just yet. He has also treated my son for a shoulder, and got him back on the field very quickly.
Doctor Avery did amazing job on meniscus tear surgery. He has wonderful bed side manner. Warm, open and informative. His staff made sure I was well looked after. 10 days after surgery I was back doing my CrossFit WOD without pain. Knee feels strong and working well during all the movements. First time and in a long time pain is gone and my knee feels solid. Please when you are having knee pain make Doctor Avery your first call. Doctor Avery and his staff will take great care of you!
Dr. Avery was absolutely amazing! I had a depressed tibia fracture. He was so calm and professional, taking time to fully and clearly explain the break and what the surgery and recovery would entail. On my second visit, I bombarded him with questions about everything I had researched. He patiently answered every question and then gave me time to be able to make my decision without pressure. The surgery was very successful and my recovery has been awesome. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Avery executed a very successful hip replacement operation for me.
