Absolutely hands down the best orthopedic I have ever seen. Took time explained things-I had hip arthroscopic surgery and ended up injuring my other hip while recovering - we discussed options together and made the decision to proceed with the second surgery. Recovery went extremely well. Could not ask for anyone better!
I was referred to Dr Avery for two issues, a bad hip and a sore shoulder. When I called to set an appointment the receptionist told me the doctor will only see me on one issue at a time. I'll see another doctor, one that is more interested in helping patients than in racking up visit invoices. Another doctor will respect my time. I hope Dr Avery reads this and knows I have no respect for his office!!!
Dr Avery reattached my hamstring and I am staying with him forever. No matter what I will see this guy for any ortho issues before anyone else and I have see a number of top ortho doc's in the area incld DC. He is the best, most compassionate and his demeanor is top. I am very please with this place. When I needed an emergency apt. They put with with his father who is also one of the best ortho surg. I DO not know why people are complaining about wait times, these guys are worth the wait
