I’m grateful for receiving a recommendation to visit OrthoVirginia and Dr. Avery. He was very understanding of my issue, provided a diagnosis where other doctors I’ve seen had not, and gave a thorough explanation of a treatment plan. The office staff was also friendly and the office itself clean.

Dr. Avery put my shattered arm back together. He talked with me at the hospital both before and after surgery. He is top- notch in every way, talented, knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend him.

Dr Anthony Avery diagnosed my pinched nerve within minutes and prescribed a competent and tiered approach to resolving problems standing and walking without pain. The approach consisted of the medication to reduce pain along with a recommendation for physical therapy instead of surgery. On the second day of taking Medrol, I was able to stand and walk several miles not reachable by car. Full recovery will take some time but Dr. Avery’s competency was evident in his methods and helpfulness.
I’m a complicated case and Dr Avery was very patient and just plowed through all my issues to get the job done without any issues! He even kept me over to at hospital to be sure I was able to go home. Very grateful for his calm confidence.
Always takes his time to explain how everything works and why he is suggesting the options he does.
