My 18-year-old daughter had been suffering from hip pain. We went to an orthopedist who thought it was likely a labrum tear. We went and got an MRI which was inconclusive. We then went to Dr. Anthony Avery who said that although it had all the signs of a labrum tear, it had additional signs which suggested that it could be a hernia (a far simpler surgery with a much greater success rate). Dr Anthony Avery diagnosed my condition on the first office visit. He presented clearly the alternatives leaving the treatment up to me. I chose the knee replacement. I am currently two weeks after the procedure. I am still in rehabilitation but have much less pain than before procedure and this pain is responding positively to treatment. Post procedure treatment was comprehensive and well thought out
The visit was excellent in every aspect. Dr. Avery is highly skilled, conscientious, professional, dedicated to his patients, and a very good communicator.

I would like to continue my treatment with this doctor because I feel more comfortable with him,. I had no problems except with the X-Ray technologist (male) was a bit rude, apart from that I will certainly have this doctor treats me in the future
