About this business

Nestled in the Canton area of Baltimore,Annabel Lee Tavern is a local favorite named after a well known poem by the city's own Edgar Allen Poe. The cuisine is a level above the usual tavern fare, with mouth-watering dishes like the goat cheese fruit plate, pan seared duck breast, rosemary beef tenderloin gyro and a select number of gourmet desserts. According to some, the best part of their menu is the Poe themed cocktail list and variety of local brews. Whether you're coming here for a date with that special someone or just... read more

Wonderful experience! Our server Jeannie was amazing! The duck fat fries are decadent and worth every calorie! The fish tacos and crab stuffed shrimp were superb! Dining al fresco on a beautiful night was only a plus on top of a great experience!

Annabel Lee is one of the best hidden gems in the city. I have been here several times over the last few years, and it is always right on par. Whether it's the amazing menu (and reasonable prices) or unique cocktails, they cannot be beat! Their servers and bartenders are also knowledgeable and attentive. Also, they gave my dad a free dessert with a candle in it for his birthday--very nice touch!

I drove two hours and hunted for parking for 30 minutes to visit this lovely tavern. The atmosphere is interesting and oddly comfortable, the food is amazing and the staff is friendly without being obnoxiously bubbly. Totally worth the trip.
