About this business

Nestled in the Canton area of Baltimore,Annabel Lee Tavern is a local favorite named after a well known poem by the city's own Edgar Allen Poe. The cuisine is a level above the usual tavern fare, with mouth-watering dishes like the goat cheese fruit plate, pan seared duck breast, rosemary beef tenderloin gyro and a select number of gourmet desserts. Sad to say goodbye to my favorite bmore staple for great food, friends, & a haunted bathroom! No one has topped your crabcake, brussel sprouts, Annapolis and last but NOT least "the chipwhich!" Will miss you so

Don't tell a group who made reservations a week in advance to wait. An hour after our reservations, asked if our table was ready (which we were told a half hour before it was being cleared off for us) that we just have to wait longer. Understand it's the last weekend of business, but a group shouldn't wait that long and then be told to wait again. Then get the guilt trip because you are losing your employment. That's not our problem. And maybe if there was better service, maybe you wouldn't be closing.

This was my all-time favorite restaurant. Great food, great staff, and a theme that's dear to me. A unique Baltimore establishment. I will miss it so much that I can't put it into words.
