Nestled in the Canton area of Baltimore,Annabel Lee Tavern is a local favorite named after a well known poem by the city's own Edgar Allen Poe. The cuisine is a level above the usual tavern fare, with mouth-watering dishes like the goat cheese fruit plate, pan seared duck breast, rosemary beef tenderloin gyro and a select number of gourmet desserts. According to some, the best part of their menu is the Poe themed cocktail list and variety of local brews. Whether you're coming here for a date with that special someone or just... read more

My friend is from the DC area, she was very impressed with our hidden gem here in East Baltimore. We ordered the Tuna appetizer, which was good and the Brussel Sprouts which were awesome! The Tuna Panini was awesome! It is topped with Crab Dip, Old Bay Tomato, Romaine, Pickle Slices, Cheddar-Jack Cheese on Grilled Flatbread and served with Old Bay Fries. The staff is awesome!!
Business response:
Rhonda, YOU are awesome!! Thanks for this - I love knowing you and your friend enjoyed everything you tried. Definitely come back and see us soon. Cheers, Kurt - Owner
Great staff, atmosphere and service. Amazing food! My favorite spot to go!
Duck fat fries are great. Love the Annapolis chicken sandwich. And great selection of beers. Small in size but provides a cool Edgar Allan Poesque ambiance without being hokey or corny. One of my favorites.
Food was amazing....went on a tuesday night so parking was no problem...definately recommend this unique restaurant/bar.... Suggest making reservations because seating is limited. A+++

Will not go to this place again. We had a 9 pm reservation on sat jan 17 & arrived early. We where seated and awaited our other party to arrive. Sitting @ table having drinks, enjoying ourselves & then the male host came over to our table & told us our reservation had been canceled earlier during the week & we needed to vacate the table. We told him that we never called & canceled our reservation , his reply was, "the staff does not cancel reservations unless someone calls" basically calling us liars. When the male host seat... read more
