Billed $4800 for blood tests and another $1800 for stool tests. I visited gastroenterologist there by appointment in advance, because of abdominal pains. The doctor ordered blood work and stool tests. Hospital billed about $6600 total. It was regular sick appointment to gastroenterologist. In that results said that no issues, patient health, take vitamin D. So, recommendation to take vitamin D costs there over $6k. I transferred my daughter here when she was 6 months old. They are the experts in spina bifida and have taken care of my daughter all her life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU& THANK YOU!!! ����U ALL Crystal Macias' mom. �

My son is 16 years old and has been a patient since he was 3wks old. This is the best pediatric practice. The doctors are knowledgeable, caring and patient with both parents and children. It is disappointing that my son will soon age out of being under their care.

We came into the hospital today worried our 2 month old son would need neurosurgery. We were nervous and every single staff member helped put us at ease and helped us feel heard! (Spoiler, he doesn't need surgery, but we're grateful to the staff anyway).

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. When my daughter was hospitalized for almost a month she received nothing but the best care from everyone. Drs and nurses were awesome at making sure she was comfortable and also making sure we were too during our long stay.

I am forever thankful to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses who helped save my little boy born with a rare heart defect, known as ALVT. Dr Backer and Dr Mavroudis performed heart surgery on my baby in 2004 at (formerly known as) Children’s Memorial Hospital. We have since come to Lurie’s for MRI’s and have had great experiences.
