If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. When my daughter was hospitalized for almost a month she received nothing but the best care from everyone. Drs and nurses were awesome at making sure she was comfortable and also making sure we were too during our long stay.

I am forever thankful to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses who helped save my little boy born with a rare heart defect, known as ALVT. Dr Backer and Dr Mavroudis performed heart surgery on my baby in 2004 at (formerly known as) Children’s Memorial Hospital. We have since come to Lurie’s for MRI’s and have had great experiences.

Dr. Kabre, Dr. Kalapuraka (Northwestern), Dr. Reichek, Liz Sneiderman, Nurse Sarah, the Child Life department, and the many, many, many wonderful people on staff at Lurie have been an absolute blessing since the day of our daughter's cancer diagnosis. We cannot speak highly enough of the incredible, talented, and caring staff at Lurie Children's!!! �
