This Hospital is the best. Before it was renamed Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Of Chicago. It was Called Children’s Memorial Hospital and that was back in the 80’s and 90’s. And in 1985 i was born and I was born with congenital heart defect and the year after I was born I had my first open heart surgery and then another one after that. and my last one was in 2000 when I was 14 years old. I will never take my children anywhere else. My 10 month old daughter is being treated for an extremely rare cancer and they are literally saving her life when all other hospitals told us there was little hope. I'm so grateful.

My 16 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor in Jan. The Neuro team at Lurie Children’s we’re able to successfully remove it on March 9th. My sons recovery is going very well. Words cannot express how thankful we are for the care we received. One of the most notable differences was the fact that the surgical team was in constant communication with us during the procedure. This was priceless and drastically reduced our anxiety through the process. Thank you!!!

We arrived in Chicago for a vacation, and out of nowhere my son had a scary episode of chest pain. We jumped in a cab, and luckily ended up at this hospital. Everyone was calm and reassuring. There was barely any wait at the ER. The staff talked to my son patiently and respectfully and we had several doctors checking in on him.
