This hospital’s practices are unethical - they continue to perform medically unnecessary genital surgeries on babies despite the clear evidence of the risks of long term harm resulting from, and no clear benefits to, these surgeries. Stop genital mutilation.
Unfortunately the customer service, billing, and administrative departments here cannot keep up with the professionalism needed to make this a top hospital overall. I was hung up on today by customer service because I demanded to speak to a supervisor after being talked to horribly by Stephanie at the Children’s Surgical Foundation. RecommendedMy daughter spent a week in the NICU at birth and at 20 months she had her anoids removed. They took great care of my lil one and remain our hospital of choice. Answers questions before I ask them and I can clearly understand them as well.
We were in Chicago today on vacation and my 5 yr old daughter slipped and fell on the steps at the Buckingham Fountain and had a huge laceration to her right eyebrow 😭 We immediately took her to this hospital and from the time we walked in to the time we walked out, our experience was amazing! In the emergency room, we had 2 nurses, 3 doctors and a child life specialist all taking care of my daughter and making her feel as calm and comfortable as possible! Unethical hospital full of quacks who perform unnecessary surgery on patients who cannot consent!
Very thankful for the staff that are taking care of my grandson. Can never thank you enough for what you have done for him so far.
