Dr. Kabre, Dr. Kalapuraka (Northwestern), Dr. Reichek, Liz Sneiderman, Nurse Sarah, the Child Life department, and the many, many, many wonderful people on staff at Lurie have been an absolute blessing since the day of our daughter's cancer diagnosis. We cannot speak highly enough of the incredible, talented, and caring staff at Lurie Children's!!! �

We went to the New Lenox campus at Silver Cross. We had to wait weeks to get an appointment. When we could have been seen the next day by a local ortho. I wanted the expertise of a Chikdrens Hospital. Having good results with Denver children's hospital. I could not be more disappointed. We where rushed from the minute we walked in the door. I was cut off three times by the nurse as I tried to explain why I was there. She wouldn't even let me explain how we didn't know how my son got the injury. A broken L5 vertebrae. She als... read more
