The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming! My dog is very shy and easily spooked by new things and they were all very patient with her. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
Very caring employees. Very careful with my pet and the Vet was full of info and ideas for us. He was not in a hurry to push us out the door and wanted to make sure we had all questions answered. A++
my guinea pig and I had an amazing experience at Ankeny animal and avian Clinic. We were greeted by name when we walked in, even though it was our first time there. The environment was bright and happy, and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. I especially loved the follow-up phone call the next business day to make sure my guinea pig was not having any other issues. I felt safe and secure putting the health of my guinea pigs in their hands. I will definitely be coming back.
This place is incredible! The staff are kind, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. My favorite part about them though is THEY LISTEN to us about how our babies are feeling and dont try to suggest a bunch of expesive procedures just because. best vet office ever.

First time here and love it. Staff is so friendly and amazing and went out of their way for my kittens and to explain anything that I needed.
I am SO grateful that I found such an amazing clinic after moving to Ankeny from Ames a couple months ago! I brought my cat, Macie, in for an exam before her yearly was due, because she wasn't eating much, had terrible breath, and was drooling sometimes. They found that she had stage 3 periodontal disease and one of her teeth was barely hanging on.
