I thought Ankeny animal and avian did a great job explaining everything throughout my pups appointment. I really appreciate being well informed and they treated her so well and she was comfortable the whole time.
Wonderful veterinarian and staff!!! I was visiting family in Ankeny when my cat had an unfortunate encounter with a wax warmer. AAAC was glad to help and called my home veterinarian for records. The staff is so professional and caring, I dont think Lucy even realized she was at the vet! The wax was removed and Lucy recovered from anethesia very quickly. The fees were clearly explained and very reasonable for such excellent service! Ankeny should be proud to have such great pet services in town!

They took the absolute best care of our pup and when the end of our pups life came, I have never felt more supported. Everyone at the clinic is professional, caring, knowledgeable and we consider them family!

They did not have particular knowledge on all breeds of dogs, specifically French bulldogs I didn’t think. I didn’t feel comfortable with the care.
My partner and i brought our cat here the other day and we were very happy with the care we were given, the care given to our fur baby. All of the staff was super nice and understanding and they did an excellent job. We will defiantly be going back! 🙂
