I had to bring my Bulldog here after being seen by her regular vet. She was diagnosed with pneumonia but it actually turned out to be heart failure. The staff were professional, compassionate, and very informative. Unfortunately, she didn't survive but she had a long happy 12 years of life. They took care of everything for me including making a casting of Sally's paw print for me. Thanks to all the staff...
They were fabulous to deal with as my dog was dying. Compassionate staff, friendly, respectful and attentive to the difficult situation.
The staff here are incredible. We have used them several times and each time they have been caring, supportive and knowledgeable. They see people at some of their worst times and treat people with care and compassion. I would recommend them to anyone!
We have used this office many times unfortunately. The last time was in 2015/2016 when our 15 year old dog had a stroke. We had to make the decision to let her go and they were there the whole time to help us. Sadly, this isn't a place you go to for good things. They deal with a lot of sadness and help our animals when emergencies arise. I'm thankful to have this service locally so my animals have a chance. Thank you for what you do.
I've been here several times with my very sick fur baby and we were treated with courtesy and respect. I highly recommend and will continue to support Animal Emergency & Critical of Lynchburg.
My husband and I routinely take in elderly/sick/disabled dogs. While we are very dedicated to our vet, we are so incredibly thankful and blessed to have AEC as a resource for us in the middle of the night when we, inevitably, have needed emergent care. The staff has always been compassionate and considerate and have taken the utmost care of our old babies when they were in urgent need.
