I'm praying my loan gets sold to another company. Horrible company to deal with, and non-existent customer service. Incredibly difficult to just make a payment. They won't except partial payments, and also don't take credit card payments. I have had a payment sent back to me because it wasn't the full balance. Website is also very antiquated, and not very functional. I got stuck with them when my loan was sold to them, but would advise to avoid them at all costs if you have a choice.

Amerihome says my escrow account is going to be short $631.00 due to property tax increase and home owners insurance increase. I called my home owners ins. Company, sure enough it went $150.00 for the year. I went to check on my property taxes, sure enough it went up 191.38 for the year. Can someone tell me how $150 and $191.38 totals $631 ? It breaks my heart reading experiences so similar to mine. We live in a Hurricane Harvey impacted area near the coast. We were without power for days, and our business was impacted as a result in addition to everything else. When I called AmeriHome to inquire about their "help" for those affected by disasters, the rep was so kind and reassuring. He put me on the 3 month forebearance plan and assured me that those three months of payments would be deferred to the end of my loan. That after 3 months, my payments would resume a... read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST mortgage company in the industry. They owned my loan for about 13 months and made my life miserable. My loan has been sold to different financial companies many times and I have never had an issue before Amerihome. Once my mortgage was transferred to Amerihome, my monthly payment went up by about $200/month. I called multiple times to ask for the reasoning and they kept answering that my property taxes had increased as deemed by the county even though... read more

WOULD NOT FUND HOME OWNERS INS. POLICY. CHARGED US 350% HIGHER USING A POLICY THEY FOUND. FINDING THIS IS A COMMON SCAM WITH AMERIHOME. HAS ANYONE SPOKEN TO AN ATTNY WITH REGARDS TO CLASS ACTION SUIT?
