DONT EVER GET YOUR MORTGAGE THROUGH THEM NO MATTER WHAT! I’ve been with them for more than a year & it’s been a nightmare. They say they’ll pay your insurance then don’t. Then blame you for them not having the info even though it’s in writing that they will pay it. My taxes sky rocketed last year, very illegally, they didn’t care & didn’t try to work with me. Worst customer service on the planet. You can not speak to anyone to get any issue resolved. You are routed to a 3rd party customer service team that knows nothing about Amerihome. Stuck with them and they are terrible.

The worst place to get a home mortgage, wish we never worked with them. None of the reps are on the same page; they always claim they have not received our paper work, and they always give us deadlines “to paper work WE HAVE ALREADY sent in multiple times. How is it possible to say we have not sent anything to them; when we, faxed, emailed, and over night mail THE SAME F*ing paper work. Run away don’t get mixed up with this company.

don't use this company as mortgage to your home!!!! worst costumer service i have ever experienced. the company charged my escrow account for flood insurance which i had from day one. the amount that paid for insurance with premium is $600 yearly. amerihome insured me with which there was no need and made a policy for $1583, for 2 bed apt 2nd floor 783 sq, this is ridiculous amount and then sold my mortgage. guess what after they sold the mortgage they cannot help you no more. after months of calling finally some... read more

NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THIS COMPANY! Read the reviews, if you think they sound bad, trust me, dealing with them is so much worse. They are awful, terrible, just incompetent people. Jeff and Brandi are liars and thief's. They missed our closing date TWICE, forced us to stay in a hotel for five days while we were essentially homeless, and refused to answer the phone and offered a few..."yes, I can see why you are upset," comments. Run FAR FAR FAR away from them.

Worse mortgage company in history. I have been fighting with AmeriHome for over a year. They screwed up, did not re-affirm my mortgage when I filed BK two years ago, I have been told by many customer service reps that the BK department screwed up, and still they do nothing. Terrible company. My mortgage was sold to them, I didn't chose them. They upped my mortgage payment within the first year because they failed to properly estimate taxes and insurance. I didn't notice the payment went up $100, so payed the old amount. I got a letter from collections immediately.

This company is incompetent. I set up auto-deduction which took place on Feb 4 and then they rejected the payment for no reason 20 days later. They said it was the bank but the bank confirmed the payment cleared and they did not reject it. Every time I call someone tells me something different. I am lied to every single time I call.
