Absolutely the worst mortgage company for escrow. Their entire escrow departtment should be fired . last year they did not pay my taxes to county even when I had over 6000 sitting in my escrow department. I went into late fees and paid 500$ to county as late fee from my pocket . They make false claim that I never have to pay late fee as my loan is on escrow but never will get a proper customer care person who can do anything. same issue this year again . Deceitful, dishonest, unethical, just a few words id use to describe these folks. After months of harassment and actually destroying my credit score, they finally admit their mistake in handling the COVID-19 forbearance program with a now unemployed and disabled man. Extremely unforgivable, disappointing and heart breaking. Folks if you have the option to get out of your mortgage with them, id do it, before you're next... Grade: F

I have dealt with several mortgage companies and this is by far the worst. 4 calls since Dec 23rd because I made a mistake and made 2 house payments. Been trying to get reimbursement or applied to February payment. Been lied to twice. First 3 girls I spoke to have absolutely no clue what they are doing and don’t care. Found out they all work from home. Have requested to speak with supervisor twice and nothing. this place is the absolute worst customer service! I was transferred four different times hung up on I've been on hold three different times with no resolution. every agent I spoke to transferred me to the wrong department! I will never use this company again they are absolutely horrific

Amerihome is not the worst mortgage company to deal with. They are the absolute worst of ANY company to deal with. I can not in good conscience even give them a single star. There is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing that would qualify as a saving grace about this company. They hold the record in my book as far as poor customer service, hold times, agents who are unequipped to help with some of the issues, and complete lack of return calls and follow up. I don't recommend anything. I mailed my mortgage payment the day i got it in the mail(december 19th) and it still has not been taken out of my account. this happened last month also.

Whenever they tell you, you can refinance through FHA, remember! You will be paying fha insurance in addition to your home owners insurance so that the mortgage company is covered and not you. If you've had a bankruptcy in the last 4 years, I would recommend conventional. Do research before refinancing. Just my opinion Jeanie Nardozzi

I been calling everyday since December 29,2020 to speak to supervisor management now its January 6th, 2021 and still no call.. I have spoke to 6 different Representatives in the last 2 days and nothing has been resolved very unprofessionally!!
