My elderly parents have been on a monthly scheduled delivery for many years. Amerigas failed to deliver the monthly allotment in January. My parents ran out of gas and were without heat for two days. Amerigas made multiple promises of delivery and failed to follow up. They don't respond to emails or inquires. The account is set up for automatic notification of deliveries and we don't receive notifications. I have no way of knowing if the propane is delivered or not. The absolute worst! I'd select zero stars if I could. Recently, we appeared to have NO propane and called. Our tank has one of those monitors that provides the company with info about how full the tank is and was told that our tank was about 70% full (online account said 72%), so it must be something else, perhaps the regulator, and that they would send someone to see what was going on. 4th day with no propane. It's below freezing out and can't seem to get a delivery from Amerigas despite daily calls to customer service. I would avoid doing business with this company.

We just purchased a house and the tank that the previous owners had rented from Amerigas for years was completely rusted and a horrible eye sore. I had called Amerigas to see if they could swap out the tank since it was in such bad shape. She said yes, we discussed the annual rental and the cost of propane. Tank gets swapped out and we get a bill for $298, the fees to change the tank. I am upset that it was never disclosed that it was going to cost us that much just to swap it out. I ran out of propane on 01/30/2021. That is poor management on my part and I should have kept an eye on it better. Now with that being said. I called to schedule propane delivery that day. I was told I would have propane in 5 to 10 business days. I had a scheduled delivery date of 02/06/2021 last. I waited all day with nobody showing up. I called first thing Monday morning. This company is HORRIBLE! Literally EVERY month I have to spend hours on the phone trying to schedule a propane delivery to my home well after levels in the tanks fall dangerously low, according to them! There's always some BS excuse. I've even has a driver start to pull in my driveway, and then stop and drive away, claiming to his boss that our driveway wasn't plowed of snow. Which it WAS! This company scheduled to have a tank delivered on February 6th. Never received confirmation nor did we ever get in touch with someone. Every time I called I would be on hold for an hour only to be transferred to someone else because they didn’t have an answer. TWO hours later they stated delivery would be pushed out a month. This is a new build for a family of four. No hot water nor gas for our cooktop. Poor customer service, poor communication, and absolutely no professionalism. I would give this company ZERO stars. This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with! Delivery window was missed (no appointment time was given, only an 2 WEEK window). From there daily calls to customer service with lengthy waits and untrue runaround information, with promises of delivery that never came. This was an order that had been prepaid for 3 weeks at this point. I've had find to another service to fill my tank since it had become an emergency due to the delay, while Amerigas still has my money as I wait for an alleged refund!!!
