Clifton, Tx customer for 20 years. I am a ‘keep full’ customer for approx 20 years with Amerigas. When the current storm was a week and half a way, I called for propane, as they had let me get down to 20lbs. They failed to come. I lost the small amount I had, now we still don’t have propane. We can’t cook, or heat or heat water for showers. Every day I call 3-4 times and am told.....they will deliver tomorrow. Every day, a week of tomorrows. Do not go with this company. They are liars, cheats and thieves.
Horrible service! I ordered on the 3rd, started calling the 14th to get a delivery status I have been promised a delivery all week with no shows.. I have told them I have two very small children at home and propane is our only heat source. Today is the 19th I have been out of propane for 4 days now and it’s Friday the 19th another no show! I have emailed, called 42 times, tried corporate also to no avail. Been on hold with the emergency line for hours with no answer! I will be contacting my local news station about this next
I'm on a automatic fill. I've called twice this week to have the tanks filled because it's been so cold we have burnt more. I'm now out of propane and they said they would call within a few hours for delivery after being told the day before they would expedite my delivery. I'm tired of the walk around stories they give. Just fill the ****tanks already. I will be switching suppliers.
Whatever you do....stay away from this company. I have been trying to get a refill on my tank for over a week. I have called everyday for 8 days. I am on automatic delivery and apparently nothing is automatic. They are a disaster. Run far, run fast and find a local company that actually cares about their customers. I am now using space heaters to heat my house so my tank does not go fully empty and I lose all the pilot lights. These people should be ashamed. We live near Portola, CA and were using Amerigas for propane for a couple of years. The week before Thanksgiving 2020 I put in a request to fill our tank. No one ever came to fill the tank so I called the number for customer service since the local office is closed to customers. Twice I called them over the next 2-3 weeks and could not get an answer when they were coming, or if they were ever coming out to fill the tank. Unbelievably poor customer service. We have two tanks - one for the kitchen and one for the fireplace. The fireplace tank is empty. When the truck came to fill the kitchen tank, I asked to have the fireplace tank filled and the driver told me that because it was empty, we have to have it inspected. First of all, it was supposed to be on auto-refill so it should not have run out in the first place. Worse customer service I have ever seen. I started contacting them in October 2020 because my tank was running low even though I was an automatic refill customer. After numerous calls to them, I was told not to worry that the tank would be refilled. This did not happen so I contacted them on numerous occasions via telephone, their email system, and their web chat feature requesting a refill. I called AmeriGas on Feb. 5, 2021 to open an account as a new customer. The individual who helped me was nice and polite. I was told that someone would call me within two days to place an order and schedule the delivery. Three days later my wife called and was told they had no record of our account.
