I would like to thank the entire team that helped me get the benefits for my mom that was owed to her because of my dads military career. I would recommend their services to anyone, they really put you at ease with the way they handle your case. Again I say thank you from the bottom of my heart ?? to the entire team and those behind the scenes that I didn't have personel contact with but helped make the process easy. THANKS SO MUCH!! You guys are the best!!!!
My experience with AVA, was smooth and easy. They provided excellent service and were very responsive to all of my questions. I enjoyed my interactions and felt they truely wanted to help with my situation. I appreciate all of what was done.
AVA made a the very complicated process of applying for my Dad's veterns benefits much easier. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions throughly. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about applying for VA benefits!
First, I must say, I have not been paid, nor am I an employee of the "American Veterans Aid". My family was in desperate need of assistance to help with caregiving services for my Mother who had fallen and broken her hip. We had heard and read horror stories about people who had tried to receive the Aid and Attendance benefits from the VA. The agony of waiting to fill out form after form, then only to be told you must wait and then sent more forms was not something we were willing or able to do. Time, in our case, was of the... read more
Business response:
Thank you for the nice review.
I contacted American Veterans Aid almost a year ago. I needed to apply for VA benefits for my mother whose late husband was a WWII veteran. Frankly I did not have high hopes of getting this thing done. AVA staff very patiently helped me with the entire process and I remember when I received a rejection letter I thought that is it and we are going nowhere. With their persistence finally we got the approval. Thank you AVA.
It was a pleasure dealing with American Veterans Aid staff. My 90 yrs old father was approved in 4 weeks, I'm sure it would have taken much longer to get approved had we applied on our own. Don't hesitate to use their services!
Our family is so thankful for the VA's Aid and Attendance benefit which covered the cost for long-term care of our mom in her home. She was a surviving war era veteran spouse. When her husband passed away, she had limited funds. She had dementia and wanted to remain in her own home as it was a familiar place for her. With the monthly VA Aid and Attendance funds, she was able to hire a live in caregiver. We are so very thankful for this wonderful benefit. American Veterans Aid were very helpful in making sure her application ... read more
WOW all I can say is Great service, help every step of the way. Approved in 6 weeks. The paperwork for this was well above my head, but they knew just what to do. Many thanks and do not hesitate to use them. They did everything they said they would and fast. Kept in contact with me the whole tome
My mother had to go into an assisted living facility at age 90. I had to use some of her saving each month to subsidize her expenses. A friend of mine told me about a little know benefit from the VA called aid in attendance. Since my father was in WWII my mom was elligable. The home said I should deal with the VA directly but after talking to a cousin of mine, who only got $75 a month for his dad that way, I decided to call AVA. They told me on the first call that mom would be entitled to the full amount. Took a few months t... read more
