Navigating the Veterans Administration process for veterans aid was very difficult and time consuming. The American Veterans Aid organization helped me through each step of the process and ultimately resulted in my mom being approved for veterans aid. Thank you American Veterans Aid!

The people at American Veterans Aid worked with me tirelessly to get the benefits that my Father deserved as a veteran. They were excellent communicators and responded to all questions and concerns that my sister and I had with the process. My mother is 95 years old and is on her last stage of full blown Alzheimer's. My dad, a WWII veteran passed away 15 years ago and mom's wishes were always to remain in her house. For a few years now she requires 24 hour care and her income was not enough to cover her expenses for caregivers that Medicaid will not cover in addition to so mAny other expenses. I have been working with AVA on behalf of my Mom to receive Survivor Spousal Benefits. It has been coming up to 2 years since we first started this process. I have sent, resent and resent paperwork that the NUMEROUS denials letters from the VA has claimed were never received (some were never asked for until the denial letter). I was told originally it could be as soon as a few week to up to 3 months because of Mom's age, she was 92 at the time. Unbelievable..I'm very frustrated. The people at AVA were responsive, answered all my questions and were very patient with the process to obtain the VA benefit for my 90 year old mother-in-law. The benefit came more quickly than anticipated, and though there was a lot of paperwork involved, the AVA explained every step along the way. I was very comfortable with our liason and would highly recommend this service to anybody attempting to get this benefit. It was worth every penny and couldn't have come at a better time! We contacted AVA on behalf of my Dad who is a WWII veteran, 93 years old in hopes of receiving assistance in getting VA benefits for him. They explained their services very thoroughly and answered all of our questions in detail. Everything they told us came to fruition. They gave us a timeframe for approval and the approval came in must faster than they told us which was great. From the moment I started this journey with Devin Stokes in May 2017, it was smooth sailing. Every step was handled professionally, with knowledge, and caring attitudes. Because of American Veterans Aid and their team, my 94 year old WWII Veteran father is receiving benefits as of September 2017. Couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much??
