I went through American Veterans Aid for my 92 year old dad, who thought I was being scammed. How far from the truth! My rep, Ardee D*******, led me through all the paperwork required and made sure it was perfect before he let me send it in. I sent it in December 2018 and he was approved in January 2019! Less than a month for approval and he got his first check immediately. If anyone is complaining, they have to ask themselves if they did exactly what they were told to do. We looked into using American Veterans Aid for my parents as they started needing more assistance. We spoke with the rep in June/July of 2018 and they started the paperwork. We did not make the final application until November, but that delay was on our part not on the part of AVA. Every time we sent paperwork in within a day or two of receiving the paperwork we would receive a new check list on what else was needed. Thank you for your excellent and timely work in helping our mother to receive both Survivor’s Pension, and Aid and Attendance benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs. My grandfather applied for the Aid and Assistance Benefit with the VA four years ago at the age of 90. He was denied benefits. I contacted American Veterans Aid in May of last year asking for help filling out the application. Everyone I worked with at AVA was so helpful. Angela, Kirk, And Ardee could not have be more helpful or friendly. They walked us step by step through the application process and helped us get my grandfathers financials in order. I am very very satisfied with the service provided...they helped me every step of the way and provided the support I needed to get the required papers together...made sure they were filled out correctly and put in the correct order for appearance...was told could take 6 months to a year to be approved...to my surprise,received my first payments after only 4 months...thank you American Veterans Aid

This process went so smoothly! Cate C. explained every aspect of the benefit and how their organization ould assist us through the process. She also explained what the fee covered and also made certain that we understood we could apply for this benefit on our own without paying a fee. Cate was willing to explain the process more than once to other family members in a patient and professional manner. Starting our process with Marilyn D**** (Benefit Consultant) then continuing with our case manager Ardee D******* and follow ups with Kirk L******* and Joyce N****** have been outstanding!!! Marilyn was so helpful and patient never giving up on my dad and I. Marilyn would continue to reach out to me and explain what I needed to do to get the process moving and complete. I seldomly have worked with a company as thorough and dedicated as AVA. We couldn’t proceed with my application until my mom’s property was placed in trust, in order to ensure that she would receive the maximum benefits. However, because the property was tied up in litigation, we had to wait to do the trust until the settlement was completed. This took nearly a year. A big thank you to American Veterans Aid and their team of professionals, particularly Cate C*******, who first introduced me to the company and their services which I used to help my 95 year old father secure a much needed veteran’s pension.
