I contacted American Veteran's Aid on behalf of my mother who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and is the widow of a veteran. I understood that this process was lengthy and complex. From the date I called them, they explained and provided information for every step needed in the process. I just have to say, AVA is a wonderful organization. They helped us through some rough times with Brother. We was trying to get my Brother into an assisted living facility. But, the cost was more than we could handle. I actually found AVA on line, and thought it sounded pretty good. Arde was just wonderful talking us through the different forms. everyone that worked on my application was courteous and effecient. The application process could have been a huge nightmare, but I was able to get the information to AVA and they made sure the application was complete and correct and ready to file. The application was accepted and I am now receiving benefits. The process was a snap! Worth the fee, every penny!

I contacted American Veterans Aid in mid September when my father, who is a WW2 vet, moved to assisted living and his expenses ballooned higher than his income. They helped me through the process of applying for the veterans aid and assistance pension. The application was submitted in mid November, I had the pension approved in January. The whole process was painless and lightning fast . Thank you AVA!

My family had a wonderful experience with AVA. We had tried to get benefits for my father once before and were rejected after a LOT of work and waiting, even though we knew he qualified. The application was just so confusing and complicated, with so many steps, that it was difficult to get it right. We are so thankful that the Veterans offer Aid and Attendance to Vetrans and their families. We received the benefits within the timeframe we were promised as well as the back pay reimbursement.

My experience with American Veterans Aid was a very positive experience. They were very helpful and prompt on answering any questions. The majority of information and forms to fill out were sent through my email which made the process go much faster. I first contacted American Veterans Aid in mid November.
