I would give them zero stars if I could. Just bought a used home and this policy on September 30, 2019. Paid $219.97 down payment. Today, October 23, 2019, I tried to make my first monthly installment. Imagine my surprise when I see a 'notice of cancellation' in my on-line documents! It states they will cancel my policy on November 11, 2019 if I do not provide a 'Final Roof Report' stating that the roof was replaced within the last 15 years. That fact that I had to search to find out how to leave a review goes without saying since I haven't left a review in years. AC had a malfunction/ mechanical breakdown, put a claim in May and has taken 5 months. The company has denied the claim twice which at that point I involved a lawyer and have presented media outlets information. OMG I almost got caught in the crossfire. I'm so sorry for all of you that had to go through all the problems I just read on your reviews. That's why I swear by peoples reviews especially when it comes to my home. With so many bad Beyond bad terrible reviews now I can look elsewhere. Filed a claim for hail damage to roof. Took 2 weeks to get an adjuster out to view the damage. Rather than send one of their adjusters, they sub-contracted the inspection out to an 'engineering firm', because they were so busy. This is a common practice when an insurance company has every intention of denying the claim from the get-go. Signed on with American Integrity in Feb 2019. Price was good for a fair amount of coverage. After heading back to the northeast for the warm months I received a notice of cancellation almost 3 months after the start of the policy. They said I was being terminated for lack of information. Calling my agent to find out what was going on they said I needed to take pictures of my faucets, etc. to see if they have been upgraded which they were all within last few years. A very dishonest and deceptive company I would give them a negative rating if it were possible.. Congratulations to their lawyers who crafted a policy that states what is covered in the first 5 pages then crafts an addendum which negates all the coverage. I had a small claim for mold damage. Do NOT insure your home with this company. They are the most unprofessional insurance company, and will gladly take your premiums, but not pay out on your claim! We had a claim from 10/3/2017 that was initially approved, and then, just as we were preparing to start the repairs, they changed their minds and denied the claim.
