As long as you keep accepting money from Exxon, a leader in misinformation, I have to disregard you as no more than ignorant, phony and greedy.

Today's news is disappointing — and perplexing. By making this decision, the AGU board has ignored the pleas of 300 prominent climate scientists, hundreds of AGU members, and 56,000 petition signers. The AGU decision also renders the organization's own sponsorship policy meaningless, since the policy explicitly bars AGU from receiving funds from companies that disseminate misinformation about science. You know it and I know it — Exxon certainly fits the bill! Somehow, AGU hasn't gotten the message.

I am disappointed that you have decided to accept funds from climate change denying Exxon. Especially since it is now reported that their own research proved they were affecting climate change years ago. It will be hard to believe that you are an unbiased

What a joke of an organization. Can't even stand up to ExxonMobil over issues of scientific integrity .. not to mention global justice! What do they stand for but short-term power and profit, then?
