AGU takes money from Exxon, known to spread lies about climate change. I cannot take AGU seriously as long as they take money from this unscientific bunch.
If you take money from Exxon you will be compelled to write propaganda for Exxon and their ruthless destruction of the Public Commons (the global environment). You will no longer practice and promote science. You will practice "modified" science that, coincidentally, supports Exxon's goals and you will promote corporate profits over people, something Exxon has been supporting for a very long time. If you have any sense of shame and/or public responsibility, you should be ashamed and rectify your erroneous decision.
I can attempt to leave a reasonably disappointed review of AGU, but let's just go with honesty. Your board's recent decision to accept ExxonMobil's money is a betrayal to our species and planet. There is no excuse that you can give that would justify such a decision. Your credibility is now tainted. Congratulations. — A concerned citizen of Earth
Another meaningless organization that sacrificed integrity over Exxon money.
AGU should not be accepting money from Exxon, a major denier of climate change.
