What a horrible business. I placed an online order for a refrigerator on November 6, 2020. I received an order confirmation from them. 2 weeks later I am looking for my refrigerator to be delivered and I find out my charge card did not go through. NO ONE ever called me from this company to inform me of this. I called their customer service number and got INDIA the country. If I could do lower than a 1 star I would, I bought 5 appliances from you guys and spent alot of money. My Dishwasher has been a problem since day 1 and everytime I call in I get the run around. Bought a scratch and dent dishwasher from them on Sunday 10/28/20 at the Fenton, MO store. Went to install it today and it's missing the mounting straps and 6 plastic caps that go around the door frame. The manual says without these caps it can leak and start a fire. Called the store and they said I would have to call the manufacturer for a tech to come out. I explained I wasn't told this was "as is" and there could be parts missing. Purchased a dryer that had "cosmetic damage only" in description. When it was delivered, it had bad frame damage to the rear corner making it impossible to level and work correctly. None of my emails have been returned and the West Covina store won't answer my calls on their store phone. HORRIBLE customer service from American Freight, DON'T do any business with this company!
My experience with this company has been below average since I walked out of the store after purchase. First all the items that I requested were not rung up, so when the delivery came, I was missing a lamp I had asked to buy but it was never added to the receipt. I was also told one price for delivery based on my zip code, but then charged more upon actual delivery. Within a year, my couch and loveseat ere damaged. Stay Away !!!!!!! I purchased a refridgerator .....The delivery guys came in and took my old one out first. I purchased a dryer, 09/10/2020, at the Reynoldsburg store. Included in the total purchase was a fee for hook up at $15, delivery fee $69.99, haul away fee $15 of old dryer. Delivery staff demanded an additional $40 CASH to install.They left the old dryer sitting in the middle of the basement.. I ordered an oven from TX and they shipped it - nobody called to tell me where it was and the website wouldn't let me schedule an appointment. Finally I reached someone who told me to call another carrier - I did that then they told me I had to call the original carrier because they dropped my oven in transit. Serious avoid this company!! I have used them many times in the past when it was an outlet for Sears. They have rebranded and I purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator from them. It was delivered BY THEM. The freezer was not working properly. Day and a half after delivery called them to have it looked at for this reason. They had us call the extended warranty people for this.
