My experience with Dr. Miranda-Sousa has been excellent.However, my experience with the office operation has been lousy. Among other things, they do not typically answer their phone; but rather an automated system accepts incoming messages. My messages have not been returned on a timely basis.
My husband is a patient of Dr Sousa we have been very disappointed with the overall care and bedside manners are just laking. My husband is in pain for 2 days now and may have other complications from a surgical procedure several phone calls have been made to Dr Sousa office over 2 days now without 1 response. Extremely disappointed in the care and concern that hasn't been given.
I saw a PA. I have not seen Dr. Sousa on my last 3 visits. I have declined biopsy of my small nodule on the prostate and have had 6 month PSA tests and 3 MRI's. The nodule has not changed. The PA (4-28-25) was visibly not happy that I was declining the recommendation for a biopsy. He did NOT provide any of the counseling that is checked off on my patient portal. The portal is a joke. Dr Sousa, Was professional and took the time to explain all procedures and answer any questions .I felt very comfortable, talking with him and understanding what my options were. I would definitely recommend him.
