I was admitted for a sleep study for epilepsy & the staff was amazing! Jesse one of the tech's on the unit was wonderful & outgoing. Made the stay there very comfortable. My family & myself were very pleased.
They were awesome with me and I was there for almost a week. I only had a problem with one of the night DRs because she was so rude and would not let me take my sleeping pills that I took my whole pregnancy. But other then that everyone was awesome
My daughter had been ill for months and everyone said she was fine. We switched doctors and received the unfortunate diagnosis of dermatomyositis. Thank GOD for Dr. Rothman and everyone we have encountered during admission and subsequent treatments. We have had so much support especially from one of her nurses, Angel, and we are so grateful for access to this wonderful care!
I literally just watched molly from the er take one bloody instrument and take it to another to look at their eye. I had to say something to her and then she got an attitude. Disgusting and will be reporting to the hospital.
Best hospital around. Best decision to come and have my surgery done here.
I had a double bypass March 10,2015 the care I was given there exceeded my expectations the doctors and nurses became a part of my family the following two weeks I was a patient they were there for every thing I needed as soon as I hit my call bell they were in my room eager to assist on all my needs the only thing I can say about AMC is the food really needs to improve. If ever I had to be hospitalized again you bet I will choose AMC
So my brother is in there and he's got some hard bone mass in frontal lobe the neurologists can't figure out why he had a seizure. The eye doctors came to see him and said that it was in the brain matter. Hmmmm I don't know why they can't communicate :/ ncbi .nlm.nih. gov/pmc /articles/PMC3540000/

Albany Med saved my life after a sudden illness. The ICU staff were incredible as well as those on the Trauma unit. I have so many to thank Dr. Deblock, Dr. Sanders, Dr. Morris, Dr. Patel, Dr. Rosati, and so many more. A very heartfelt thanks to trauma surgeon Dr. Deroo who was truly instrumental in saving my life. I feel so blessed to have been treated there and Albany Med will forever be a part of my life.
