I was sent to AMC ER from St Mary's ER with the expectation of getting an MRI. I waited 22 hours and was discharged without getting an MRI. Kept getting told I'm in the list but there's sicker people than me! Totally rude and unprofessional. Will never go there again.
I was born with hydrocephalus, I was five weeks early at three days Doctor John waldman did my first shunt placement that lasted about twelve years then started breaking in 2008 but went unnoticed until 2013 doctor Matthew Adamo did my shunt revision in May of 2013 I've gone three years surgery free!
They're a business--a dirty business at that. For every good MD, decent RN, kindly clerk, there are about 500 who are not. Forget Patient Relations--a pack of snotty drag queens. Management at AMC seems to have learned their trade at Dachau.
Are you kidding me Albany med! My brother in law (30 days post bmt) was admitted on Thursday never got any blankets or dinner. Friday comes and nobody is masking or putting gloves on which is a must but the nurses don't have a clue. Again no blanket or dinner again. My sister is bringing in her own supplies because they do not have them for his lines and she flushed his lines because they didn't! The medical team takes good care of its patients. It's cleaner than St Peters. Definitely the number one place to go if you have a medical emergency!
My stay at Albany Med was amazing. I was there from February 2nd-May 3rd. Dr. Zhang saved my life. On E8 the nurses and OT/PT were amazing! If it wasn't for their dedication to helping I wouldn't be walking.
I had my son in December at AMC and had a great experience. Very attentive and caring staff. Big thanks for the great care we received at L&D and postpartum. Keep up the good work!
The excellent staff @ Albany Med saved my son's life. Truly magnificent work! On an unrelated note I'm looking for the Halloween pictures from 2015? I was hoping to show a friend a picture of my son as little Superman in the hospital. Tia if you can find it!
