I recently had a surgery done at Albany med. The wait time before surgery was a bit ridiculous (about 2 hours) but once I was taken back the staff was extremely respectful and helpful. It did take a while from once I was brought back to prep until I had my surgery, but once I was done the staff once again was patient and respectful. Overall it was a good experience. 6hrs in the ER just for them to tell my son needed a splint. Hate this place.
I came in with severe abdominal pain. Diagnosed with acute appendicitis, surgery by laproscope a few hours later. The Dr's and nurses were awesome! The support staff were a.azing also. Definite Rock Stars!!!! Thank you for a positive and timely experience ❤ Now I am home recovering �
I had wonderful care from amazing doctos, nurses, pcas, and psas!
Albany Medical by far the best hospital I have had to spend some time in . The Doctors are very good and don't rush into things they have conferences and team work an plans they know what they are doing and they do it very well the staff as well are very good all have good bedside manners Thank you all . Didn't forget the best security guards in the capital District
My son had a croup attack and caused him to come to the ER via ambulance. Upon arrival my son got put into triage and we waited in the waiting room for 4 hours before even being talked to by a RN. This is disgraceful! There was more then one stab wound victim waiting in the waiting room, one of which looked pretty critical. Open laceration and bleeding out of mouth and entire chest, the RN had no bedside manor what so ever, final after 4 hours another RN came to "evaluate" all the people in the waiting room.
