Trying to kill me!!! Had me on 3 does of IV meds that were helping then took then away and try to force pills. Those came right back up but they refuse any other form of treatment. Worst place ever!!!!!
In all honesty I think albany med is a joke in many respects. At least the ER is, and has been for a long time. I hate going there. I cant remember one time that I didn't feel so indifferent about how things operate. Today I got so angry that I left after my Xray and went to Memorial to be seen. You would think that after spending millions on making all those upgrades and improvements that thinks will be better. Not at all. I received my MD from AMC then completed my residency at AMCH in 1978. During my 35 year career practicing OB-GYN in Albany and Troy, the anesthesia staff, L&D nurses, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and NICU and support staff were directly responsible for saving the lives of many high risk pregnant patients (and their babies) with life threatening conditions. I will always be grateful for the quality of care provided to all patients at AMCH.

In 1991. I was stabbed 5 times in a violent attack. I was bleeding out. I was taken to AMCH ER where my Life was saved. I was mere seconds from death and if it wasn't for the excellent staff at AMCH; I would have died. thank you and God Bless you all.
I used to work there and the patients make it worth coming to work everyday. M5 was great we all work as a unit well in tough situation and the patients saw that and were grateful in the end
