ICU is great, treatment in B3 is the worst I’ve ever experienced
because I'm getting text messages for a bill that is NOT mine. I've never been in that place!!! I call at 10:00 am on 1/12, spoke to Dana and she says it happens all the time!!! multi-million dollar crap hospital fix your billing practices! !!!!!!!

This is a massive shout out for Albany Med's Pediatric ER. When my wife and I went to the Albany Med ER late last night, with our pukey 3-month old, we had no idea what to expect. Then we saw the Pediatric ER and instantly it was like "oh thank God!". The staff there are amazing and, when we did go home, I truly felt they had turned all the stones and our little boy was gonna be alright ♥️

The doctors and nurses have taken wonderful care of grandson during a scary illness. I am very grateful for their professionalism and genuine concern.
AMC overcharges for out patient procedures. We went for a needle biopsy as out-patient and Medicare states they pay$900, but AMC charges $4300. My dumb insurance company approves it, so we are contesting the crazy bill. AMC uses DRG codes to get extra payments when Medicare reports CPT ones for the procedure.
