I have been in this hospital for over a week. I delivered my daughter here in this time. This hospital is amazing with wonderful staff that truly care about their patients.

Turned away from the new Urgent Care in Latham because I only had $12 which I gave them and they wouldnt see me with out $40. Trouble breather and wheezing but thanks for the uncompassionate service. Oh and thanks for letting me know after I filled out all the paper work and sat there.
Staff is rude. Vomit in entrance walkthru at ER. Didn’t get cleaned up until 2 hours after. Waited in waiting room for 3 hours. Drove 2 hours here for an emergency from another doctors office and still get treated like crap. Would never come back here again. Hospital is dirty. Unopen Supplies on the floor. Blood on chairs the nurses are trying to have patients sit on.
The nursing staff and patient care attendants were incredible. The food was very good and I was impressed . But the doctors really screwed the pooch on this one . I was under impression that I was leaving after surgery but was kept for two days to get iv anbx and be seen by infectious disease for issues from previous surgery ,I did get iv Antibiotics but never saw Infectious disease dr ,nor did the resident write for anbx at d/c they had to be paged and oh yeah they did not even see me they wrote orders and walked out. The South Clinical Campus is horrible. I had a CT Scan done there last week at the walk-in office. The tech named Tim, or Ted, or Tom was beyond creepy. He asked inappropriate questions about my hair color and whether I had cancer (I was there to screen for blood clots, nothing related to cancer, he was just nosy). The worst part was he recklessly did my IV for the contrast causing me to have superficial phlebitis after. Been here over 7 hours now with my 10 month old daughter and still haven't seen a doctor! My daughter was referred here by the on call doctor because she was displaying seizure like activity. Sat in the waiting room for 4 hours being exposed to who knows what sickness until we asked for a supervisor. We were told by the receptionist that the pediatric are a closed at 9pm and any empty beds go to ems arrivals and we were continually being bumped.
