The emergency 🚨 room is very horrible. They don’t even have paper on their chairs in triage... waiting room is dirty and they have terrible patient service.
I would never recommend that anyone needing inpatient care go to Albany Medical Center. The Emergency Room treatment wasn't so bad, but if you get admitted you're in for a really rough ride. I know, because I'm a good writer, it probably sounds like I'm not an individual in a lot of pain, but please do not be fooled because I'm very bad off. RecommendedI had my baby here almost 2 weeks ago & everyone was so helpful! The nurses gave me so much advice because I was so nervous to bring my baby home since I am a first time mom & they made me feel more comfortable about bringing him home. Everyone there helped me with all the questions I had & they were all so patient & nice. I highly recommend this hospital!
Pretty disappointed with the service at the brand new children's emergency room. My son has been left in the waiting room for 4 hours and still nothing more than a vitals check. The receptionist isn't even staying in the waiting room while we wait. So much for state of the art care!
I had an appointment for 3pm and it's 415 and still haven't seen a doctor. This is place is horrible. Never again. I will go to Ellis where they are always on time

They do great things. The nurses are the best
They made a mistake below but fixed it and credited me back a fair amount. Thank you for getting back to me with a fair assessment of what happened. [They told me inaccurate info that caused me to proceed with an MRI, resulting in my insurance quoting $500, then I got a bill for $2,700. Now they refuse to accept responsibility.]
