I was there, had surgery, they have old broken down equipment. The morphine machine was duct tape together and never dispense the pain medicine not to mention a phone that feel apart when you tried to use it. The staff was the pits, dropping trays outside my room all night, no sleep, the bedding never was changed, asked if I took a bath and no one gave me anything to take one. I would never go there again.

I went to AMCH by ambulance with complaints of acute pain to the upper left quadrant of my abdomen. I was put on a stretcher in the hallway for 3 and 1/2 hours and no one even examined me. I became afraid for my life so I left and went to St. Peter's Hospital. They treated me right away. I had a 7.5 mm kidney stone and a severe kidney infection. I needed surgery. The doctors at St. Peter's Hospital said that they could tell that I was very sick just by looking at me. No one at Albany Med could be bothered to just look at me.

Don't go here unless you have literally hours to wait for urgent care. Dr Mr Hospital greedy tards: You know those 6 security guards you have guarding one door who do nothing but surf on their phones while dozens of people are in agony near them? GET RID OF A FEW and hire more doctors to handle the 40+ people that are ALWAYS waiting for "urgent" treatments. Maybe, just maybe then you would deserve to claim to have an "Emergency Department".

I came into the ER Thursday evening with extreme abdominal pain.. I waited patiently for over 6 hours.. They did a test and a couple hours later, they told me that I had a kidney stone.. They said that they would put a stent in, and I could go home.. Then, they changed their mind.. then, they changed it again... and again.. and again.. after changing their mind 5 times, they can't seem to be able to find a Dr who is sober and who knows how to do the 15 minute long procedure.. it is now Sunday afternoon.. I'm still here and t... read more

I wish I could give negative stars. The bedside manner of the physician staff is abysmal, the nurses are observably overworked, many of the technician and pca staff appear to have been given their jobs on the basis of having a pulse and nothing more, and the operational organization is less than dysfunctional. If I broke my arm on the elevator, I’d ask to be taken to a different hospital.

Kaiser Permanente is misdiagnosing people with fibromyalgia to get out of treating their actual medical problems And everyone diagnosed with fibromyalgia at Kaiser Permanente should go somewhere else and be retested Also I believe they were giving me suicide pills to get me to kill myself so they would not have to treat me
