Most certain my 19 yr son was forgotten in the ER, also he received the wrong blood type upon hand off to critical care unit, treated by new residents for first 3 hours of care for blunt chest trauma, chest tube and trauma cath places by new residents caused additional harm which led to veinous hemorrhage, and he was given an overdose of Fentanyl. RecommendedI can’t even begin to thank the many teams of doctors who saved my daughters life! I will forever be grateful to Albany med! The pediatric center is the best there is! Dr Pugh in neurology and Dr Barry in the picu are my hero’s!
I've been to St Luke's of Cornwall and Orange regional medical and those are the worst hospitals in the state of New York. I was very pleased with Albany meds treatment 4 MI surgery the nursing staff was very nice and follow doctor's orders unlike st. Luke's of Cornwall. the only complaint I have and I wish they would have a higher caliber food choice menu rather than the standard the hospital food. the food was delicious there was nothing wrong with it, I would just like to see and more gourmet options as choices.
Excellent caring professional physicians
Went for a hip/back injury for my daughter. Pediatric er-waited over two hours and never was seen by a dr or nurse. No one checked in, nothing. Left without being seen. I have never had a worse experience at any hospital. Go somewhere else!

This trip I was extremely satisfied with the service at the hospital. The staff that served in B-wing on the 3rd level were amazing.
An absolute joke of a hospital. I’ve been here a few times, once for myself and currently for my mother. I was left in a hallway in overflow for five or so hours, crying in pain because of my back, spent most of that time being ignored as I got to hear all the drama between nurses going on around me. I was discharged in the same amount of pain, having had zero tests run. A month later my orthopedic surgeon informed me that I had two herniated discs. Good catch guys!
