I thought a critical principle in healthcare was informed consent? How then can you force or coerce your employees to have an invasive medical procedure? This is unethical. Is it really Your Body My Choice, Albany Med? I think your patients should be aware of this policy to violate the bodies of your employees. Whose bodies will you violate next — your patients? Shame on you. Reverse your policy and allow the mask, which is much more effective at protecting your patients than the flu shot and no risk for your employees.
Incredibly stupid hospital. You think firing 60 nurses who DON'T HAVE THE FLU OR ANY SYMPTOMS OF THE FLU, who refuse to poison themselves with an effectual and highly dangerous toxin-filled poison is considered "patient safety"? But 60 less nurses won't affect patient safety? You're stupid Albany Med. Stupid, pharma-bought and paid for asswipes.
97% of your nurses receive the flu shot. Only 3% do not. Probably because they had an adverse response to a previous flu shot. And now you want to fire them? Masks work. Let them wear masks
By not forcing nurses to get the dangerous flu shot.
not only did they save my husband leg they truly cared about what they were doing....want to really say the woman Terry in the billing department was one of the nicest people I have ever had to deal with over the phone and for that I am grateful.
I did not have a good experience at all with this hospital. The nurses were good and did their jobs but I found the doctors to be cold and uncaring and I feel the level of companion and care were sub-standard.
had my daughter a year ago and the entire delivery team and the recovery unit was amazing, loved all my nurses even olive who made such an impact on me while I was in labor , holding my hand and helping me through it, and the nurses who took care of us after delivery were amazing, they all loved my little one and kept her with them at the nurses station so I could get fresh air 10 out of 10 for me
in the ER yesterday for 4-5 hours and not 1 healthcare "professional" washed their hand!! why waste time on OSHA protocols & new employee orientation??
