Anyone dealing with sciatic nerve pain should NOT go to Albany Med’s Emergency room as their last resort; go to another hospital's ER. They’ll make you sit in the waiting room while you’re experiencing some of the WORST pain of your life for SEVEN HOURS. I saw groups of people come and go for hours! RecommendedMany thanks to the Emergency Room and ICU staff. They could not have taken better care of me. From the doctors and nurses to the staff cleaning my room, everyone was cheerful, friendly and caring. I can not thank you all enough.
My boyfriend went by ambulance, pain scale of 10 and vomiting blood. And they kept him in the waiting room for over SIX HOURS and did absolutely nothing to help him.

Worst ER in the capital district. A 4 plus hour wait sitting in the waiting room is unacceptable.

COVID-19 Team got my sister through this horrible pandemic. Can’t thank them enough. She has dementia which made it even more difficult because she couldn’t comprehend what was happening. God bless you all ❤️🌈❤️
