Nothing emergency about the ER. Been here for over 5 1/2 hours with my boyfriend who has chest pain and numbness in his arm and fingers. Could be having a heart problem, but wouldn’t know since the nurses are chit chatting in the next room and we still have yet to be seen by an actual doctor.
Currently going on 6hrs in the Ed waiting room. My mother’s doctor was worried she might have had a Brain anroysom (you know wtf I mean) yet y’all don’t think it’s enough prioritie to check her in. When I asked how long y’all said no comment. If my mom dies tonight it’s on y’all. I lost my dad at 17 and now I might lose my mom at 20 because y’all suck.
RecommendedThis review is based on our visit on the afternoon /evening of 9/10/20. I am beyond impressed by the absolutely beautifully orchestrated care in the Albany Med Emergency Dept. All staff members (from the security staff, to the visitor liaison, the receptionist, the CNA's, PCT's, Transport Team, CT scan techs, radiologists, nurses, and doctors) were kind and professional. Waited at Albany Med for 3.5 hours and every person after us got seen before us. Customer service was awful. Staff was rude. Incredibly upsetting when you patiently and respectfully sit and wait your turn and people who swear at staff get seen before..... unacceptable.
The front pavilion entrance is closed with no signs until you walk there. That’s not even the best part - we were sent over for a stat xray and because I have my son (whom I brought with me to my daughters appointment) we were denied her xray unless I send my 5 year old off with a stranger to take her through the hospital to have the xray and bring her back to me. Now I have to get a script for the xray because they just sent it over so now I have to go back with two children in the rain to get the script. Now I get to drive... read more
I love ❤️ Dr. Judson, Chief of Staff in The Pulmonary Dept. and his amazing nurses, doctors, and all his staff for helping me stay alive.
I have been sitting in this ER for 9 hours and have not seen a doctor! I am in pain and waiting on results that they have had for 5 hours and no pain meds are able to be given to me until I see the doctor. This is inhuman and unacceptable!!
Had my son there in mid-August was never given a hearing screening. Had to go through a ton of work to finally get it done to have the results sent over with the wrong name, birthdate and false information!
I just want to thank the wonder Drs and nurse at albany med NICU!! I cant express my thanks to you enough!! Our baby was boon 7 weeks early and stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks and the care was fantastic!! best team of nurse and DRs I have ever worked with. Shout to B4!!! thank you all so much!!
