Communication in the ER is so poor. Patients in the ER lobby over five hours and little to no communication. If you ask for an update you get snapped at. I wish that I had taken my daughter someplace else.
RecommendedFive Stars!!!! I had a total hip replacement yesterday. Every point along the way from the info class, to pre-screening, to admissions, to pre-surgery prep, to recovery, to the 1 day/night in the ward was efficient and comfortable. The nursing staff on ward B3W were professional, caring, and thorough. Dr Roberts from Bone & Joint did an amazing job. Even 2 days after surgery I am in less pain than prior and my leg can move forward in a straight line which helps my walking (still using walker) and also eliminated my knee pain... read more
I cannot say enough about the top notch pediatric care my daughter has received over the years. After a couple stays at St Peter’s we came to Albany med where Dr. Allmendinger was finally able to diagnose and treat her. As a result, we have fewer trips to the hospital. Unfortunately we had to go a few days ago and my daughter Cate was admitted. While we now know how to best treat her cyclic vomiting syndrome, we had to stay for our longest visit yet because of the severity of her dehydration. The nurses were amazing! In part... read more
Never again Albany Med... I understand hospitals get busy and it goes by priority (I work in one).. BUT COMMUNICATE with you patients. Because 11 HOURS just sitting in the waiting room, before even being seen..is just absurd.You
The Nurses and Doctors give a 100 % ! I would never go to any other Hospital . The best care north of NYC.
Go anywhere but here!!! Waited 6.5 hours for my son to be seen/treated was told all drs in pediatric er were busy(2 other patients ) but 3 drs were sitting behind the desk talking about going golfing for 45 minutes. I would recommend going here ONLY if you have a dnr and dont care.
