Thank you for all you have done these last long months essential service providers! On behalf of all the Doulas in Alaska I would like you to look at your policies and consider revising them to include Doulas as essential maternity care team members. All over the US hospitals, governors, and states are recognizing that banning Doulas from serving their clients in such a time of need is a violation of your patients human rights! I was born at the old ANMC hospital on 3rd ave. I’m a native of Alaska and I’m proud of the Alaska Native Medical Center, yes there are long wait times in the Emergency Room but that’s all part of going to the ER. Thank you ANMC for the amazing service you have given me over the years. God bless.
The doctors were quick to find my pulmonary embolisms. Would highly recommend.
My baby and I just made it home from labor and delivery at the Native Hospital. I received the BEST care while I was there, the most impactful was Kim M. & Natalie ! I’m a first time mom and they both made me feel so secure & prepared for my little beautiful baby. I was terrified but every time I had a single doubt they made sure to reassure me, made me feel like I could do ANYTHING !! They were both strong for me & I needed that.
