Great hotel. The rooms were decent. The location is perfect. It's close to a lot of restaurants and the convention center.
The lobby is AWESOME! The check in desk is great as well. I love the security and the service you get in the building. The steak house on the 36th floor is very good as well. View from my room was Great.... ty ALA MOANA Hotel

Excellent service and security! Close to everything and were able to walk most places. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Everything was excellent! But the thing that made me write a 5-star review was an article I read today about hotel security. Twice we had to stop by our room while housekeeping was still there. Before we could even drop off anything they graciously asked us for our room key to confirm we were supposed to be there. Wow! We felt pretty safe after that. Thank you for excellence that extends all the way through. We loved it there!
Decent place to stay with clean affordable accommodations but very utilitarian for Honolulu. Close to Ala Moana Park and walk across to Ala Moana shopping center. The Prime Steakhouse on the roof is fantastic and ask about the lobster Mac & Cheese ... !!!!
