We live on the Big Island and visit Honolulu several times a year, some times for business or medical, some times holiday shopping or pleasure. We always stay at the Ala Moana. It is our home away from home! Highly recommend it!
We always try to stay at this hotel when we're on O'ahu. During our latest stay, I forgot my pricey Chi flat iron in the bathroom drawer. Housekeeping turned it in, and the hotel mailed it back to me in California via priority mail. Nice people, true aloha!

Freaking fast elevators. Great hotel with plenty of class. Nice staff and a shout out to Miako who works in the all you can eat breakfast buffet. It has its own bridge to the Ala Moana shopping center. An actual real full size gym. It a great starting place for ventures into Waikiki. Ala Moana beach park is a stoplight away. Poor quality service, poor room quality unable to connect to wifi and too expensive.
Nice place to stay. Well located within walking distance of several restaurants, pubs, and the beach.

Hotel molto buono arrivate a piedi a waikiki, volendo arrivate anche a downtown a piedi, se avete noleggiato auto il parcheggio è facilissimo in quanto attaccato c'è il mall con parcheggi gratuiti fino alle 10 e il Pk dell'hotel è al piano interrato con molti posti sempre disponibili (20 dollari al giorno) problemi solo se rientrate a tarda notte dovete girare un po'...
