worst experience ever! – We were at this "trattoria" called restaurant and I can't think of anithing good. Disappointing – The experience is simply not worth the price. The food can either be excellent or chef Boyardee. We had the most perfect Fritto Misto and the worst Spagetti Allo Scoglio. The wine list is lacking and overpriced. We had a Vermentino that was three years old and I am sure it must have been delicious if we had enjoyed it two years ago. GREAT FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE, RIGHT ON THE MONEY! – I initially made reservations at IL SOLE for my husband's birthday dinner. However, we were given the "RUSH" at greeting point. We were told that we can only have our table at Il Sole for 1 hour and 15 minutes, which is not enough time to celebrate a birthday with 4 guests. Bad Food, Expensive, and bad service! – This place is a typical LA ?hip? restaurant. The food was very bad quality, same sauce for the lamb and steak! Over cooked and dry steak. Refreshingly Simple Plates with EXTRAORDINARY Flavor! – Wow, I didn't know that pasta could taste this good! I'm not kidding you when I say that I was delightfully surprised with every bite. Great food, horrible service – If you want great food, but would like to be seated 1 1/2 hours after your reservation then this is place for you. I have been to Ago many many times (not by choice my friends don't mind waiting at the bar and checking out the scene for over an 1 hour and as I said the food is great). awesome mozzerella appetizer, dark and romantic (for a date with myself) – I dined alone, experience was great, 6pm on a Saturday, wasn't busy yet, very attentive wait-staff. I read the other reviews before I wrote this and was a bit shocked to see how horrible a time some folks had! Worst customer service, disgraceful establishment – I absolutely do not recommend this restaraunt. I made reservations for 14 people on a friday night for my wife's birthday, and I was told that it's too many people to have individual orders, that instead it will be "family style" and that I will be explained the details of this when we get there.
