They change their fees without notifying members. I am currently abroad and found out about the increase when I got charged high international fees. I inquired about it and apparently they notified members through "CFE Currents" or their newsletter? Wouldn't it make more sense to send people direct emails notifying them of this change as it directly impacts members? Definitely closing my account as soon as I get back home.
Great Credit union. As a customer for years, I've never had a complaint...until now. Cannot believe my $30 in rolled change was denied because change is now only accepted for "kid" accounts ages 1-16. Who makes this rule? Smh! Oh well.
Worst bank ever. Do not bank here. No one can help you and they fee you like crazy. I would much rather throw my money away rather than bank here. I had a fraudulent charge and was told they can’t stop it. Then get hit with multiple over draft fees along with never being told other options when I signed up. Poor service and poor management. And obviously they won’t fix their problems because I see many people complaining about the same things
I have been a loyal CFE member for 4 years and have NEVER missed a payment or made a late payment. My husband is in the Army and they are not allowing us to take our car overseas for "fear" that we won't make our payment. Although insurance has been paid through the end of the year and the military is HIGHLY accountable for their soldiers making their payments.
