My experience with ABT in the store was great and I was really surprised by how affordable their service program was. I would have given them a great rating until I actually had to use the protection plan I purchased. If you plan on making an appointment for a service technician to come out, make sure that your partner (or yourself) is unemployed and able to keep an entire day completely cleared in order for the DAY OF call from ABT to tell you what two hour window they will ...Continue Reading

I bought an LG 28" Tv on Nov 26 and was told delivery would be in 7 to 14 days. Called today and now told delivery could be delayed up to 4 more weeks. Was offered a Samsung, in exchange, which I refused. Seems to me Abt should've initiated the updated status.

Had our oven go out in early November, ordered a new one from Abt. Since it was a special order, due it’s size, I waited 3 weeks, and then another week for delivery. Had to go through Thanksgiving without an oven. When it was finally delivered, the glass door was broken, so now I’m looking at not having an oven for the holidays. Today is the fourth day since the failed delivery, and no one has contacted me. I would have expected Abt to go out of it’s way to make this right as soon as possible. We are on our 7th (8th?) service call since early October 2017 to repair our GE Monogram frig. First, we waited for the service call to see what the problem was, then had to wait 3 weeks to get the part and have it installed. Once the control board was replaced, the refrigerator ran - but the condenser never stopped. We of course called, and again waited ~ 2wks for the service call. Horrible customer service. Went in for 2 replacement ovens for my old Dacors. Walked around the high end appliance area for over 30 minutes. Not one person said hello. One guy playing on his phone and a girl playing on a computer. Walked by them and make it obvious I was shopping. Still nothing. Another $10k plus sale out the door. Took the poor kid I said something to downstairs 5 minutes to even find a manager. Found what appeared to be someone acting as a manager. Seemed frazzled. Just apologies. Won’t return.
