We purchased an undamaged floor model (directly from the floor, not scratch and dent warehouse) fancy fridge from Abt in September. The purchase experience was positive, price was good, showroom lovely, salesman knowledgeable. Delivery was scheduled quickly and arrived as planned, BUT it arrived damaged. EDIT : granted after getting angry technician came first thing this morning and fixed the door to washing’s machine I would take it up to 3 stars now . Worst customer service ever 2 times ordered wrong part. Just the rubber seal for front loading washing machine . I’ve bought many appliances from Abt as did my parents and grandmother before me. For me it’s mostly because I try to shop local whenever possible. I’ve never compared their prices to the big box stores for that very reason. Every single sales experience has been stellar but the service has repeatedly fallen short with the after purchase customer care. Ordered a dishwasher and scheduled a delivery for Saturday thru their freight company. They never showed and I called the delivery company 20 times and they never answered (no VM either). I called Abt and they said I could have it delivered Wednesday. Well, I could accept delivery Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, but not any day thereafter. Abt hung up on me. Beware! Do not purchase from them! If you already have, get your warranty somewhere else!My son and daughter n law bought a fridge from them! Less than two years old and it died! After over a month of calling them and making appointments that they frequently were hours late for, they still did not have a working fridge! Oh yes, they purchased the warranty! We recently bought a brand new EXPENSIVE washer and it malfunctioned after 2 months and they wont do anything about at all. I literally could slap each and every lazy inconsiderate employee and manager there. I thousand dollar paperweight... all they tell me is to call LG and LG came and took a look at the washer and just said to use less detergent which I have and the problem still occurs where it won’t finish the wash load.
